We are recruiting for a VRS Lead Installer to join us here at Octavius.
We are a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK.
You'll be working on….
Leading the safe and efficient installation of Vehicle Restraint Systems (VRS) across a range of highways and infrastructure projects within our Regional Civil Engineering business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising on-site VRS installation teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
- Coordinating daily site activities, including traffic management and site set-up
- Ensuring all works comply with National Highways Sector Schemes and relevant standards
- Carrying out site measurements, interpreting drawings, and ensuring accurate installation
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Liaising with Site Managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth delivery of works

About you….
You are a hands-on, safety-focused team leader with strong experience in VRS installation. You take pride in delivering high-quality work and leading teams to achieve excellent standards on site.
You'll bring…
- Proven experience in VRS installation on highways or infrastructure projects
- Experience leading or supervising site teams
- Good understanding of health & safety requirements and industry standards (e.g. NHSS 2)
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and site instructions
- A valid CSCS card (essential)
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexibility to work nights and occasional weekends as required
