Project Manager
You'll be working on…. (what your role and responsibility is)
- Lead the safe and successful delivery of a major highways infrastructure package, ensuring works are completed in line with programme, budget, quality and health & safety requirements.
- Manage and coordinate site teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners, driving collaboration and maintaining high levels of productivity, quality and performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and proactively managing interfaces, risks and opportunities to support successful project outcomes.
- Oversee project planning, commercial performance and reporting, ensuring effective resource management, change control and continuous improvement while upholding Octavius' values and commitment to excellence

About you…. (what you are skilled at)
- Proven experience delivering highways or major civil engineering projects valued at £3m+.
- Strong background in earthworks, drainage, road construction and public realm infrastructure.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, change control and project reporting.
- Knowledge of NEC contracts (experience under NEC Option B would be advantageous).
- Experience working directly with Tier 1 contractors, local authorities or National Highways frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills.

Essential
- SMSTS
- CSCS Manager Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
- Degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Temporary Works Co-ordinator.
- NRSWA Supervisor.
- NEC accreditation.
- IOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification.
Technical Knowledge
- Earthworks and pavement construction.
- Utility diversions and stakeholder coordination.
- Section 278 or local authority highway projects.
