We are recruiting for a Fleet Administrator to join us here at Octavius.

We are a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK.

 

You'll be working on…. (what your role and responsibility is)

Providing essential administrative support to ensure our fleet operation runs efficiently, accurately, and remains fully compliant. You'll support the Fleet Manager with day‑to‑day administration, including maintaining fleet databases, managing fuel cards, coordinating vehicle allocations, and supporting licence checks, expenses and defect management. You'll also play an active role in improving processes and supporting the wider business.

A collaborative and supportive Supply Chain and Fleet team, working closely with the Fleet Manager and wider internal stakeholders. You'll also liaise with external suppliers to help ensure the smooth running of our fleet across multiple projects and frameworks.

  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Confidence using Microsoft Excel and Word (intermediate level)
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • The ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Good proficiency in English and Maths
