We are recruiting for an E&P Performance & Efficiency Manager to join us here at Octavius, working on the Southern Renewals Enterprise (SRE).

We are a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK.

The SRE represents an innovative approach to delivering rail renewals projects in Network Rail's Southern Region. This alliance contract, based on Project 13 principles, aims to achieve comprehensive rail renewals across all partners more efficiently than in any previous control period.

The E&P Performance and Efficiency Manager is tasked with providing dedicated capacity to initiate, enable, track, and realize efficiencies across the E&P Portfolio, focusing particularly on affordability and profitability.

 

You'll be working on…. (what your role and responsibility is)

Efficiencies are expected to be realised across all activities, including but not limited to:

  • Innovation, including new ways of working and standards challenges
  • Continuous Improvement by being a Learning Organisation
  • Quality, ensuring right-first time and on-time delivery
  • Collaboration within the E&P team and across partners and the ecosystem

The role will also support the tracking of our performance against the four other Enterprise Outcomes – Happy Customer, Safe, Fit and Healthy; Cleaner and Greener; Positive Legacy. Where require performance improvements are required, this role will be key to supporting the implementation of plans within the team.

  • Experience of Network Rail process and governance
  • General knowledge of the Construction Industry
  • General knowledge of recognized forms of collaborative working models/contracts
  • Through knowledge of working in a highly regulated industry
  • Experience of leading Innovation and Continuous Improvement projects/programmes
  • Experience of Line Management and/or Mentoring
