Chief Financial Officer (0727)

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a proven, strategic CFO to lead finance and technology functions at a pivotal stage in our growth. Reporting to the CEO and sitting on the Executive Board as a statutory director, you will have full accountability for finance operations, risk management, statutory compliance, and technology strategy.

What You'll Do:

• Lead a finance team of 25+ taking responsibility for all aspects of financial support and control of a £350m + business
• Own the company's financial integrity, from statutory accounts and reporting to budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.
• Drive commercial insight and strategic decision-making across the Executive team.
• Oversee risk, compliance, and governance at all levels.
• Champion best-in-class finance systems, processes, and controls that enable scalability and operational efficiency
• Take executive responsibility for the technology function which has its own technology director, to oversee technology strategy, budget and investments to ensure alignment with business goals, monitor technology-related risks, and provide executive input to that function

What We're Looking For:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 10+ years' post-qualification experience.
• Seasoned leader with experience managing large finance teams and multi-million-pound P&Ls.
• Proven track record in corporate finance, taxation, and statutory reporting in complex organisations.
• Exceptional commercial judgment, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
• Comfortable operating at Executive level, influencing decisions, and shaping company direction.
