The role – what you'll be doing
As a Technical Manager or Assistant Technical Manager, you'll be at the heart of our project delivery and engineering excellence:
- Drive innovation: Develop practical and creative temporary works solutions for both live projects and tenders
- Lead with confidence: Support site and bid teams, ensuring robust design management and adherence to temporary works procedures
- Collaborate across teams: Work closely with clients, designers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes
- Champion best practice: Share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and support continuous improvement across the business
- Stay hands-on: Undertake site visits, audits, and inspections to maintain high technical and safety standards while developing your own expertise

About you
We're looking for motivated engineers who are keen to grow, collaborate, and make an impact:
- Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in engineering (civil preferred)
- Experience working on site within construction or civil engineering (desirable)
- Understanding of temporary works and engineering principles
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive mindset with a passion for innovation and improvement
- Knowledge of BIM, CAD, or other engineering tools (desirable)
- Working towards professional membership (ICE preferred)
