You'll be working on...(Roles responsibilities)
In this role, you will support the safe and successful delivery of on‑site construction activities, helping ensure our work is executed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. You will:
- Support the leadership and management of site activities to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the expected quality standards in line with the Line of Sight.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and customers, always representing Octavius positively and professionally.
- Promote and embody a collaborative culture across the site team—driving behaviours that put safety, teamwork, and delivery first.
- Support the protection and enhancement of Octavius' reputation by delivering work aligned to our values and customer expectations.

You'll bring… (your wealth of experience & qualifications)
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Experience working in a rail or infrastructure environment, with exposure to OLE works
- Experience of contributing to projects up to c.£3 million
- SMSTS qualification
- PTS/COSS/ES and relevant industry training
- Good IT skills and an understanding of programming
- Working knowledge of NEC, ICE or similar forms of contract
- An industry‑recognised qualification such as a Degree, HND, NVQ, or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction, or related disciplines
- Or equivalent experience gained through extensive on‑site learning and development
